Whitnall Wanderings

Whitnall Park is named in honor of Charles B. Whitnall who served as secretary of the County’s Parks Commission from 1907 until 1947. Whitnall Park was the crowning achievement of his visionary planning to develop an ambitious system of naturalistic public land encircling the city. The 640 plus acre park is Milwaukee County's largest park and is home to Boerner Botanical Gardens, Wehr Nature Center, a golf course and beer garden along with an archery range, a mountain bike trail, winter sports areas, playgrounds, picnic areas, hiking trails and more. The Oak Leaf Trail winds its way through the park as well. Most of the work to complete the park was done by laborers of the depression era Civilian Conservation Corp. Be on the lookout-after you find each location of the Adventure Lab, you will be given clues toward the final coordinates for a physical bonus cache, Whitnall Wanderings Adventure Lab Bonus Cache (https://coord.info/GC8VPG5).
