Tucumcari New Mexico is a fascinating place to explore in that it has several special sites in and out of town. On this tour you will learn about the town's history and about a few of these special places in and near the city. You also will experience some of the many beautiful and interesting murals by Doug and Sharon Quarles and others that are part of modern Tucumcari by answering questions about this artwork (required answers are not case sensitive). You can do this tour of five locations either by walking (about 1.5 to 2 miles round trip) in an hour or by driving and you can do the locations in any order. Also, the location of a physical bonus cache GC8YT64 is derived from clues that will be given in the journal of this cache once you have finished answering a question at each stop. The given starting location is near a park and the adjoining Chamber of Commerce which have parking nearby (and further information) for those walking the tour.
