Most people probably think of the famous NASCAR Superspeedway when they think of Talladega, but it is a friendly, neighborly town which was incorporated in 1835 with history and memories to offer. There is a school for the deaf and blind as well as the oldest bank in Alabama. It is home to Talladega College and the International Motorsports Hall of Fame. Let's explore three other spots in the downtown area today. All stages are close together and you can easily walk to each one. I recommend starting at the courthouse and going clockwise.
