Street Prints Manaia (Whangarei)

'TUIA TE MUKA TĀNGATA’ OR ‘WEAVING THE THREADS OF HUMANITY' In 2019 an international street art festival was held in Whangarei. During this festival a group of national and international street artists visited Whangarei and completed 15 large scale murals around the city. This simple Adventure Lab series will take you on a tour around the streets of central Whangarei to visit some of these murals. In total there are 5 waypoints to visit to complete this series. At these waypoints you will get to see 7 of the murals that were created during this festival. This Adventure Lab series starts in the Whangarei Town Basin, where there is plenty of parking (although during weekends, this area can be busy.) It is designed as a loop walk and should take you about 30-45 minutes to complete. Please be mindful of traffic and use the pedestrian crossings. I've now made this non-sequential, but the descriptions assume doing it in a clock-wise loop from the Town Basin.
