Welcome to Stan Hywet Hall & Gardens, the former home of the Seiberling family. F.A. Seiberling is one of the co-founders of the Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company. Built between 1912 and 1916, the creation and preservation of the estate was heavily influenced and shaped by women. This short walking adventure will help you discover the impact the Seiberling women had on the property while also revealing the stories of visitors and collaborators like Helen Keller and Ellen Biddle Shipman. Stan Hywet is located at 714 North Portage Path, Akron, Ohio 44303. After entering at the corner of Portage Path and Garman Road, follow the signs to guest parking and to the Carriage House to purchase your admission ticket. Your ticket will give you access to all the locations you need to complete this Adventure Lab at your own pace.
