La Jolla Coastline Nature Walk

With a dramatic coastline boasting incredible views, it's no surprise that La Jolla is one of the most popular beach destinations in California. Surrounded on three sides by the sea and backed by the steep slopes of Mt. Soledad, La Jolla's natural beauty, abundance of wildlife, and upscale village lifestyle ensure that it lives up to its nickname as "The Jewel" of San Diego. The area comes complete with crystal-clear blue water, pleasant swimming temperatures, for most of the year, and an abundance of marine life to observe. It’s become a favorite spot for snorkeling and scuba diving. Nowadays, the area is infamous for its seal and sea lion populations. Take a walk along the coast from Goldfish Point on the Coast Walk to The Children’s Pool. Gain some insight into the area's geology, animal life and history. Points can be visited in any order, but recommended to start at Goldfish Point and work south to Children's Pool. As of March 3 2024 BONUS CACHE DISABLED.
