Kanaka Creek Regional Park

Kanaka Creek Regional Park consists of 400 hectares of protected land along 11km of Kanaka Creek. It is named after the Hawaiians or “Kanaka” who were some of the original construction workers, employed by the Hudson’s Bay Company, that worked on the Fort Langley fur trade post across the Fraser River. The park is a beautiful coastal rainforest featuring Sitka spruce, Douglas fir, maple, and Western red cedar trees. Picnic areas, hiking trails and waterfalls with spectacular sandstone cliffs are other prominent attractions to this park. Watching salmon is a popular activity at the fish fence and Bell-Irving hatchery. This adventure includes a bonus cache (GC8YXXC) in which the coordinates will be revealed upon completion of each stage. The adventure can be played in any order but I would recommend leaving the Bell-Irving hatchery for last as the bonus cache is closest to this stage. LOCATION ANSWERS TO BE IN LOWER CASE, WITH NO SPACES. NUMBERS TO BE SPELLED OUT.
