[CZ]Židovská obec v Třebíči má dlouhou historii a zůstala po ní ojedinělá čtvrť, která se řadí mezi urbanisticky nejzachovalejší v Evropě. První písemné záznamy jsou z roku 1388. Na levém břehu řeky Jihlavy naproti zámku vznikala židovská čtvrť a ve 2. polovině 17. století dosáhla největšího rozmachu. Zrušena byla roku 1848. Za 2. světové války byli Židé deportováni do koncentračních táborů. Z téměř 300 židovských obyvatel se skoro nikdo nevrátil. On the left bank of the Jihlava river opposite the chateau, a Jewish quarter was established and in the second half of the 17th century, it reached its greatest boom. It was abolished in 1848.
