Dolphins on Parade

Virginia Beach's dolphin statues started with Sandbridge resident and artist Cindy Graf, who helped create Norfolk's mermaids and the Outer Banks' horses. Noticing that there was nothing similar for Virginia Beach, she proposed dolphins, and the idea took sail. People who buy dolphins for their property end up doing so through a nonprofit, with most of the funds going to charity. Please note that this Adventure Lab is not affiliated with the nonprofit A Dolphin's Promise. I saw these dolphins around town and thought they would be fun to look at up close and share them with my fellow cachers. I hope you enjoy them as much as I did. Although the terrain is very accessible, you will need a vehicle to do this adventure lab. There are plenty of areas for you to park safely. One location will actually treat you to four dolphins in close proximity, but only one will count towards the adventure lab.
