Some history and sights around Beatty, NV

This 5 stage Adventure Lab will take you to a few location around Beatty that are full of history or just a tribute to the History. You'll want to drive as the stops are in 4 locations of town. If you running out of daylight try and get to the Albert Revert House first as that one would be difficult after sunset. The town of Beatty was founded in the early 1900s by Montillus Beatty, remembered as “Old Man Beatty, who also served as its first postmaster. Beatty quickly became an important supply center for the nearby town of Rhyolite and the Bullfrog Mining District. Today Beatty is dependent on Death Valley tourism and the passing traffic on Highway 95. There is still some mining activity going on as well and promises of new bigger operations coming back in the future, but only time will tell.
