Growing up, the Nanuet Mall was THE place to hangout for every teenager. It has since been razed in favor of bringing what the owners call "A lifestyle center" to the town. But few people alive remember how the original mall transformed the small once-rural town into a hub of commercial activity, and spawned more rapid growth in and around the hamlet.
