Mdina była dawną stolicą Malty. Położona jest w centralnej części wyspy. Jest to średniowieczne miasto z wąskimi uliczkami, położone na wzgórzu, skąd roztacza się szeroki widok na wyspę. Mieszkają tutaj 292 osoby. Ze względu na wyłączenie terenu miasta z ruchu samochodowego (z wyjątkiem aut dostawczych) i panującą w nim ciszę, Mdina nazywana jest również Cichym Miastem. It is a medieval town with narrow streets, situated on a hill with a wide view of the island. 292 people live here. Due to the exclusion of the city from car traffic (except for delivery vans) and the silence prevailing in it, Mdina is also called the Quiet City.
