Arrowtown has many historic buildings remaining as after the gold rush had ended, the town went into decline and the need to renew and grow the existing buildings was not required. Not so lucky for the town back then, but lucky for us to see these wonderful old buildings now restored giving them a new life and maintaining the character of the village.
