Das Kunstareal präsentiert heute Kulturgeschichte von mehr als 5.000 Jahren. 18 Museen und Ausstellungshäuser, über 40 Galerien, sechs international renommierte Hochschulen und zahlreiche Kulturinstitutionen liegen alle fußläufig zueinander.
