Heidelberg University Historical Tour

This Adventure Lab will take you on a .5 mile (20 minute) tour of 5 historical buildings located on the campus of Heidelberg University. Coordinates for “Heidelberg University BONUS CACHE” (GCAVD7G) can be solved after completing all 5 locations. SOME LOCATIONS ON THIS TOUR ARE ACADEMIC BUILDINGS. IT IS NOT NECESSARY TO ENTRY ANY BUILDINGS TO ANSWER THE CHALLENGE QUESTIONS. Heidelberg College opened its doors on November 18, 1850, founded by members of the German Reformed Church. The earliest buildings were constructed in 1850, and its most recent structure completed in 2014, and uses historic and contemporary architecture. Of the 31 buildings on campus today, 10 are listed on the National Register of Historic Places. These include: Aigler Alumni Building, University Hall, Founders Hall, France Residence Hall, the Fine Arts House, Wickham Great Hall, Laird Hall (now Adams Hall), the Octagon House, Pfleiderer Center for Religion & the Humanities and the Bryenton Honors Center (formerly the President's House).
