Exploring Fort Ebey State Park

Welcome to Fort Ebey State Park! Fort Ebey was added to Puget Sound’s coastal defense in the early years of World War II. The fort's active life was brief lasting less than a decade from construction to deactivation and removal of the guns. Despite this brief existence, the soldiers of Fort Ebey were always at the ready to meet any challenge coming down the Strait of Juan de Fuca (though none came, thankfully). Come see why they had the perfect view to defend the entrance to Puget Sound. Note: A Discover Pass is required for vehicle entry into all Washington State Parks. Day passes are $10 and annual passes are $30. They can be purchased in the park at the park office or self service kiosks. They can also be purchased in advanced at https://www.discoverpass.wa.gov/. Note: All 10 state parks on Whidbey and Camano Islands have adventures!
