The small town adventures have a unique appeal. This one takes you to a little town in southeastern Davidson county. History abounds if you're willing to look around in places such as this one. July 4th is always a special time for the residents with the onset of the annual 'SOUTHEAST OLD THRESHERS REUNION'. Usually a five day event and tractor lovers' from everywhere will show up at the Denton Farm Park. Initially this event was named 'The Denton Fly In' since it once included an air strip for small aircraft. It began offering airplane rides for a fee. Denton is a short distance from High Rock Lake and having a boat is almost mandatory here. This should give you a nice overview of the town and all points of this adventure are within easy walking distance. Hope you enjoy the experience. No bonus geocache for this one.
