Airport Park is 72 acre facility operated by the Borough of Matamoras. The park features the area’s only fully accessible playground for children of all abilities up to age 12, Firefly Field. The park also includes three groomed and maintained softball fields, a football field, baseball field, a separate fenced dog park, picnic and barbecue pavilions, including the home of the historic Tri-State Treasures geocaching event, held annual here since 2007. The park also has rest rooms, horseshoe and bocci ball courts, two tennis courts, a sand volleyball area, roller hockey rink, walking and jogging trails, four basketball courts, picnic tables, a shaded picnic grove with tables and modern concession stand offering hot foods, cold drinks and ice cream. There is no admission fee to do these lab caches. As you complete the stages of this Adventure Lab, you'll gather digits to fill in and complete the coordinates of a bonus puzzle cache, found at N41 AB.CDE W74 VW.XYZ.
