Arlington National Cemetery Notables

Arlington National Cemetery is a United States military cemetery in Arlington County, Virginia, across the Potomac River from Washington, D.C., in whose 639 acres the dead of the nation's conflicts have been buried, beginning with the Civil War, as well as reinterred dead from earlier wars. Arlington National Cemetery represents the American people for past, present and future generations by laying to rest those few who have served our nation with dignity and honor, while immersing guests in the cemetery's living history. This is an amazing place that every American should visit. I strongly advise downloading the Arlington National Cemetery app and using it to search for other notables. Please refer to the Arlington National Cemetery website for guidelines regarding masks, what you can bring, hours, etc. Arlington National Cemetery is open daily from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. There are many places that I could have marked, but only have 5 stages so picking my favorites.
