Haunted Canterbury

From the phantom of a stagehand at the Gulbenkian to the day water began running red as the blood of Thomas Becket through the city centre, Canterbury has always been teeming with paranormal hotbeds. And while the city is home to perhaps one of the most haunted cathedrals in Britain, the surrounding city centre is not short of its own paranormal happenings. Some ghost hunters come from far and wide to try and see a ghost, while others would prefer to avoid the spookier areas of the county. You will be visiting just a few of these sites on your walk. As you walk around watch out for the spirit of an old former mayor. He is often seen riding his bicycle around the city he loved, fortunately it is reported that he has proved to be quite harmless. The starting coordinates are for free parking for 4 hours but you don't have to visit this location.
