Diese LAB-Cache-Runde befindet sich im Bereich des Sattnitz-Hochrückens. Der Lehrpfad ist ca. 6 km lang mit 20 Infotafeln zu Themen aus dem Bereich Tiere, Pflanzen, Ökologie und Geologie und ist in ca. 1,5 h machbar. Das besondere Augenmerk ist der vom Aussterben bedrohten Zwergohreule gewidmet. Etwa 20 Brutpaare leben auf dem Sattnitz-Plateau. Die Eule benötigt südexponierte Hänge mit Magerrasen, Streuobstwiesen und Gehölzgruppen, wie sie hier am Plöschenberg zu finden sind. Only German information panels. Please note! The nature trail is approx. 6 km long with 20 information panels on topics from the fields of animals, plants, ecology and geology and can be completed in approx. 1.5 h. Special attention is paid to the common scops owl. About 20 breeding pairs live on the Sattnitz plateau. The owl requires south-facing slopes with nutrient-poor grassland, orchard meadows and groups of trees and shrubs, as can be found here on Plöschenberg.
