Gloucester was founded in 1651 and still thrives today. Along Main Street you will find many sites of historical significance as well as artistic value. The distance from end to end here is just over half a mile. It is completely walkable, and you will also find convenient parking along the route near all the sites. Once you finish the AL you may want to check out some of the local businesses or many other historical and artistic sites in Gloucester. There were simply far too many to choose from!
