GHAGAFAP Presents: The Early Days Of Geocaching

WALKING Adventure Lab! Don't drive! Since the first geocache was placed in May 2000, the activity that we have all grown to love has evolved quite a bit over the past 20 years. Many things and trends related to geocaching have changed or ceased to exist. This Adventure Lab will highlight some of these things. There is no information to get off of signs or objects at the locations. You will just be enjoying a nice walk in Rockwood. You may see some interesting sights along the way so keep your eyes open (who knew that cacti could be grown outdoors in Ontario...did you see them?). All answers come directly from the information you will read and learn about in this Adventure Lab. Geofencing is set to 30 meters for each stage. This Adventure Lab is best done by walking along Hwy 7 (Main Street) in Rockwood and the stages can be done in any order. Credits: Thanks Puddlemaster for allowing me (res2100) to create this Adventure Lab. Please direct any questions about this Adventure Lab to res2100.
