Western Australia has some significant military locations, which have played an important role in the country’s wartime history. There are many military museums from Albany in the South, Broome in the North, and Kalgoorlie in the East.
This series looks at some of the local military sites in the Perth area, which includes World War II Tunnels, local Telecommunications, Spitfires, Tanks and Artillery.
Most museums have restricted opening hours due to Covid19 so check the opening times.
Important:
The WWII Tunnels location in Mosman Park will take some physical effort to reach the site, however there is a path for wheelchairs and people with walking aides. Please follow the Directional Signs from the Boundary Road Carpark to the Heritage Site - approximately 350 metres.
