Church Street (96 Street) in the Edmonton inner city boasts an unusually high density of churches – a total of 13 neighbourhood congregations. These churches are architecturally, historically and culturally significant and represent the successful cohabitation of a diversity of ethnic and cultural groups who have settled in Edmonton. This Adventure Lab will take you to some of the churches on "Church Street" to admire the architecture, diversity and resilience of this inner city neighbourhood. This area has some common inner city challenges. For your safety, and out of respect for the people who live in the area, please limit this Adventure Lab to daytime hours only. Sunday mornings are also likely not an ideal time to seek out this Adventure Lab- for obvious reasons. This Adventure Lab has been placed for CARW2020- the first time this event has had lab caches. This Adventure Lab will remain in place after the event, however, for future finders to enjoy.
