AMNHA: Lab 2 - Lithonia Woman's Club (LHH)

The Lithonia Woman’s Club, founded in 1924, gave women the ability to impact their community at a time when they were excluded from elected government and business. Next to the Lithonia Woman’s Club is the Ruth Carroll Dally Johnson Interpretive Garden, which serves as the historic gateway to the National Heritage Area. In this Adventure Lab, you will be taken on an tour through this small greenspace and discover the story of the town that rose from stone, the women who moved the community forward, and the leaders who fought for Civil Rights. This Adventure Lab is a part of the AMNHA series featuring 90+ caches throughout the Arabia Mountain National Heritage Area and its surroundings. As you proceed through the Adventure Lab, you will be given a password for the Lithonia Historic Hike passport.
