Welcome to the grounds of West Point Museum and the surrounding historic district in the town of Highlands in Orange County, NY. West Point is the oldest continuously occupied military post in the United States and was identified by General George Washington as the most important strategic position in America during the American Revolution. Parking is free, Museum is free (closed on Mondays) and there are no required passes or inspections to be done during this adventure lab. You can enter the Visitor's Center for a spectacular view of the Hudson River and to aquire a one year pass to the campus.
