Davenport Park

Davenport Park is a park on the New Rochelle Waterfront with a stunning view of the Long Island Sound and surrounding area. Its wide open spaces allow for kite flying on a windy spring or fall day. Its gentle slope to the sea allows for sledding after a snowstorm. But it's most popular in the summer when people come to relax, chill and enjoy the view. It is a New Rochelle city park, you do have to pay to park in the lot between Memorial Day and Labor Day, more if you do not have a New Rochelle parks pass (you do not need to be a resident to get one, but it will cost more). However you can legally park on the street a few blocks away and walk in as well, as we usually do. Enjoy the tour! We used to have a cache here, while there's no bonus to this Adventure Lab there is a puzzle cache by rplus84.
