Albion, New York was home to Charles W. Howard who appeared from 1948 to 1965 as Santa Claus in the Macy's Day Parades. In 1937 he started the first Santa Claus School to train recruits on how to properly portray the man in the red suit. There are many tributes to Charles Howard throughout the village because of his association with Santa. This 10-location adventure will take you on a trip through the wonderful world of Santa Claus as the Man - the Myth - and the Legend.
During your trip around town you will be seeing HOLLY JOLLY sites, collecting virtual CHRISTMAS GIFTS, getting STOCKING STUFFER GIFT ALERTS when a geocache is nearby, snapping SELFIES with Santa, finding the coordinates to BONUS cache (GC9AQAG) Santa Claus Conquers the Martians, and taking ONE WILD TRIP to the North Pole. So make your list, check it twice then hop in your sleigh and let's go.
Notes - Some stops ARE NOT ACCESSIBLE AFTER DARK.
