National Museum of the United States Army (Part 1)

The National Museum of the United States Army is an enduring effort to tell the Army’s story. The Museum honors the sacrifices, accomplishments, and commitment of American Soldiers. The Museum is the first comprehensive museum to capture, display, and interpret over 246 years of Army history. The Museum brings to life history in both times of war and peace as told through the eyes of Soldiers. The Museum also offers educational experiences illustrating the Army’s role in building and defending our nation, humanitarian missions, and technological and medical breakthroughs. The Museum is a joint effort between the U.S. Army and the nonprofit Army Historical Foundation. Open daily from 0900 - 1700 (except for December 25th) Admission to the museum is FREE and open to the public. Although not required, general-admission tickets are encouraged to ensure the most enjoyable visitor experience.
