Velkommen til Tørskind Grusgrav. Det krateragtige landskab i grusgraven, beliggende på kanten af Vejle Ådals sydside, sat overfor ådalens storslåede natur, var Robert Jacobsens udgangspunkt, da han blev bestilt til at lave landskabsskulptur i grusgraven. Om stedet udtalte han: "ikke natur for tøsedrenge". Det var naturligt for Robert Jacobsen at pege på sin tidligere elev, franskmanden Jean Clareboudt, som makker, da arbejdet skulle tage sin begyndelse. Welcome to Tørskind Quarry The crater-like landscape in the quarry, located on the edge of Vejle Ådal's south side, set opposite the magnificent nature of the river valley, was Robert Jacobsen's starting point when he was commissioned to make a landscape sculpture in the quarry. About the place he stated: "not nature for sissy boys". It was natural for Robert Jacobsen to point to his former student, the Frenchman Jean Clareboudt, as a partner.
