This adventure is part of the Erie Canal Adventure Lab Trail. Located in the town of Port Byron N.Y. the Old Erie Canal Heritage Park is accessible from the eastbound side of the New York State Thruway and NY route 31. The Adventure lab should only be done from route 31 side as all 10 of the stages are easily accessible from it. There is no access from the rest area to the other stages. The Heritage park is open seasonally from May To October and daily from 9am to 6pm, but you will be able to do this set of labs year round.
