Talkeetna is located on the traditional homelands of the Dena’ina, specifically the Dghelay Teht’ana and K’dalkitnu Ht’ana. I acknowledge and thank them for their past and present stewardship of the lands, waters, plants, and animals. This Adventure Lab will show you a few of my favorite things to do in Historic Talkeetna. The walk from location to location is about 1 mile, and could take as little as 30 minutes. But I hope you take the time to enjoy each location, actually visit the museum, take the walking tour, walk along the beach, and go flightseeing.
