There's something for everybody when tackling this Ad Lab - nature, history, geography, science and plenty of photograph opportunities. This isn't a ten minute job. The walk and appreciation of what's around you will take a couple of hours. I've always wanted to put some geocaches in this area but as it is a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) geocaches are not allowed so an Ad Lab is an ideal opportunity to introduce people to the area. You may want to start your walk near the gate on Wentloog Avenue at: N 51° 29.997 W 3° 07.303 The gate has boulders preventing it from opening, so blocking it with a car may be OK - but do so at your own risk! Some people park on the adjacent grass in good weather. I think some also park on the Eastgate Business Park - but again, you do so at your own risk. A low risk option is parking in Parc Tredelerch car park at N51 29.927 W3 7.551 and walking the short distance along Wentloog Road. If you do this please take great care crossing the roads.
