The Park of Music is beautiful little park in Kildeparken. Here you will find more that 94 new trees. Each tree are planted by a well-known artist or planted in the name of the well-known artist that has performed in the nearby Aalborg Kongres & Kultur Center.Next to each tree, you will find a stand with the name on an artist and if you want to hear some music made by that artist. Press the button. This tradition started in the middle of the 1980s when Sir Cliff Richard came to Aalborg to give a concert. The former Managing Director of Aalborg Kongres & Kultur Center, Ernst Trillingsgaard, came up with the idea of having artists plant a tree in Kildeparken to commemorate their visit to the city. Sir Cliff Richard became the first of many well-known artists to plant a tree in the park in the year 1987. The first tree of many from well-known big name artists.
