Exploring Possession Point State Park

Welcome to Possession Point State Park! You can’t get any further south on Whidbey Island than you can at Possession Point. It’s small park with a few trails (some of the steeper ones on the island) and beach access. However, you’ll have a hard time finding better views of Puget Sound whether at the water’s edge or bluff’s top. Getting there tip: Once you get near, watch carefully for the signs. The first turn will lead to Possession Point State Park. The second turn immediately after leads to the county’s park with a similar name. Note: A Discover Pass is required for vehicle entry into all Washington State Parks. Day passes are $10 and annual passes are $30. They can be purchased in the park at the park office or self service kiosks. They can also be purchased in advanced at https://www.discoverpass.wa.gov/. Note: All 10 state parks on Whidbey and Camano Islands have adventures! This Adventure is sponsored by Washington State Parks and has been granted special permission by Geocaching HQ.
