Florida invades Georgia!!! The War of Jenkin's Ear

Never heard of the War of Jenkin's Ear. Well most people haven't. But it shaped the United States as we recognize it. And one of the most important series of battles occurred right here on St Simons Island. Travel the path the Spanish took during their invasion of the disputed territory held by the British. A territory, today that we call Georgia. History -The War of Jenkins' Ear was a conflict between Britain and Spain lasting from 1739 to 1748. Its name refers to Robert Jenkins, a captain of a British merchant ship, having suffered having his ear severed when Spanish sailors boarded his ship at a time of peace. There is minimal evidence that supports this, but it does give the war a colorful name. (I removed the sequential order.)
