BisMan Eagle Art

The Bald and Golden Eagle are both native to North Dakota. They have a history to people throughout our past as a sacred animal. Because of the height’s eagles fly they were seen to be near to the Creator by Native Americans. The Eagle is a symbol of courage, wisdom and strength. On June 20th, 1782 the Bald Eagle was chosen as the emblem of the United States of America because of its long life, great strength and majestic looks. In 1911 the North Dakota Legislative Assembly adopted our state flag which has an eagle at the center that resembles the Great Seal of the United States. There are many locations around Bismarck/Mandan where you can find eagles. This adventure lab will take you to them. We hope you enjoy them as much as we do.
